Below is a list of some of the outreach activities that members of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) are involved in.

Austin CROP Hunger Walk
CROP Hunger Walk is sponsored by Church World Service. Founded in 1946, Church World Service is a cooperative ministry of 37 Christian communions working together to eradicate hunger and poverty and promote peace and justice among the world's most vulnerable people. The Austin CROP Hunger Walk is sponsored locally by Interfaith Action of Central Texas.

Austin State Hospital
There is a clothing bin for donations of gently used clothing for Austin State Hospital. This outreach activity is led by Ryan Nolen.

Bethany Faith Food Pantry
A local food bank coordinated by Bethany Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in East Austin.

Disciples Outreach to the Mentally Ill
DOMI is a ministry of the Bluebonnet Area of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Downtown Cluster of Congregations and Social Service Agencies:
Members of the Austin Downtown Cluster of Congregations and Social Agencies have joined together "to improve the quality of life among the poor, the addicted, the mentally ill, the sick, the abused, and the homeless who are our downtown neighbors."

Posada Esperanza
Posada Esperanza’s purpose is to continue the mission of Casa Marianella to provide for the basic needs of homeless immigrants in Austin in a dignified setting that builds community. Posada Esperanza aims to create a home-like environment with programs that support the success of the family and the joy and learning of the children.

Purple Stride
Purple Stride is a fund raiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Week of Compassion
Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee, and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.

Week of Hope
Group Cares (formerly Group Workcamps Foundation) exists to provide dynamic short-term mission trips that help children, youth, and adults connect to Jesus while serving people in Christ's name. Group Workcamps and Group Week of Hope are interdenominational, focusing on the core Christian beliefs that bring the Christian church together.
