Lenten Meager Meals and Bible Study

You are invited to attend our Lenten Meager Meals on Wednesday nights beginning at 6:00 p.m. During Lent, we are encouraged to eat a meager meal (a vegetarian soup, water, and bread) at least once a week in order to unite ourselves with the poor and hungry among us. We will eat at 6:00, and then at 6:30 we will discuss a chapter from the Lenten Book Study “Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws”. We will begin the 7- week observance on Ash Wednesday February 14, and conclude on Wednesday March 27th . Please let Pastor Layne know if you will attend each week, so he can know how much soup to prepare. This will take place in person at Central Christian Church, but we will also be on Zoom at the link below.
