Heidi Bounds serves as the Associate Minister at Central Christian Church, where she has been a devoted member of the ministry team since 2009. A lifelong Austinite, Heidi married her high school sweetheart, Brad, who also shares equally deep roots in the Austin community. Throughout her time at Central Christian, Heidi has served in several key roles, beginning as the Director of Christian Education, then as Program Director, and now as Associate Minister. She holds a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and completed the ordination journey with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), becoming ordained clergy in the Spring of 2025. Heidi has a heart for mission work, both locally and globally, and has participated in ten mission trips. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband around the world, taking time to learn about the cultures, histories, and communities they encounter.
