Annual Stewardship Campaign

Annual Stewardship Campaign

For nearly 90 years, since 1929, our church home has been one the most magnificent buildings in Austin. Designed by a member of our congregation, whose grandson is still a member, the young architect of Central Christian Church went on to become the Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Texas. So remarkable is our church home that it pays for the lion’s share of our annual expenses – through proceeds from weddings, rental of spaces in our parking lot, and lease of the sanctuary itself for weekly services by another congregation.

But our church home does not cover all our expenses. We also depend on annual pledges from members of our church family. Over the decades, this family has counted among its members scores of exceptional individuals, including a former President of the United States, as well as saints who are no longer with us. We honor their legacy through our voluntary contribution of time, effort, and financial resources.

We pledge not because we are forced to, but because we are inspired to. Our pledges represent a sacred commitment to the fellow members of our church family, as well as a sacred commitment to serve as the hands and feet of God in the community outside the walls of our church home.

For those of you have made annual pledges in the past, thank you for your commitment and please prayerfully consider whether you can increase your pledge this year. For those who have never pledged before, please prayerfully consider whether to step up and do so now.

In this season of giving, be a cheerful giver. Regardless of amount, please join hands with fellow members of your church family who pledge!

Send an email to treasurer@cccaustin.org with your name, address, phone, email, and the amount you commit to give.
