Change Is A Beautiful Thing

A person should rejoice in their own works. – Ecclesiastes 3:22

The -ber months are here! September, October, November, and December! In case you didn’t know, Fall is my favorite season of all! Unfortunately, we have about 7.2 days of Fall-ish like weather, but I love the cooler temperatures, nonetheless. Fall is a great reminder that change can be a beautiful thing!

As we make our way through the last quarter of 2022 and before we go full throttle into the holiday season, I invite you to join me for a quiet pause. As you take a look back over the past year, what are you most proud of? What do you still want to accomplish in 2022? Run. Don’t walk. The year is not over, and you can reach whatever it is that you want to accomplish!

As a community of faith, we have accomplished much thus far in 2022! We have worshipped together 35 times, we have shared a meal together numerous times, we have worked together to give back, we’ve had more meetings than I can count to discuss and plan our work, our Vision Team has wrapped up the work they were tasked to do and have handed the baton off to the Action Team and they are off and running, we are preparing for Maria’s retirement and welcoming our new
Administrative Assistant, Zenaida, who joins us on September 6th to shadow Maria for the month, and the staff is already busy planning several Fall events as well as worship and other events for Advent.

Wherever and however, you find yourself in this season, I hope you will join in all the ways that this community of faith continues to worship, fellowship, and serve. Our time spent together really is life giving and life changing for us and others. Fall truly is a time for us to be reminded that change is a beautiful thing!

Blessings,
Pastor Heidi
